From Oklahoma! to Spring Awakening, the American musical holds a special place in the hearts of theatergoers. Join Arena Stage and Georgetown University, along with theater producers from around the nation, for a night of songs from more than ten new musicals currently in development.

Featuring music by composers including Michael John LaChiusa, Nancy Harrow, and Paul Scott Goodman, performed by Jobari Parker-Namdar, Michael Vitaly Sazonov, Mark Chandler, Tracy Olivera, Debra Buonaccorsi, Steven Cupo, Mary Mossberg and Stephan Stephens, the evening will also offer commentary by theater professionals directly involved in the development process.   Please join us for this special glimpse into the future of the American musical!
