For the past month, three couples have been anxiously awaiting the results of our Win a Wedding contest; who would win their dream wedding at Arena Stage? After two rounds of creative submissions, more than 86,000 votes from supportive fans and careful consideration by our judges, Artistic Director Molly Smith and Tony nominee Jonathan Hadary (Tevye), we have a winner. Mazel tov and congratulations to Kaisha and Quinton, the college sweethearts who stole our hearts! The couple will be celebrating their nuptials this January.

KAISHA SUTTON & QUINTON HUGULEY
Kaisha, a DC-native, and Quinton, from Temple Hills, MD, met their first year of college at Mount St. Mary’s and just celebrated their sixth anniversary. She works for the Department of State, and he’s a Police Officer at the Department of Defense.
SHAWN BYERS & MIKE O’SULLIVAN
Shawn, a Marketing Manager from Ohio, and Mike, a cartoonist from California, met online and have been together for almost four years. They got engaged last summer and live across the street from Arena Stage in Southwest DC.
MEGAN THRIFT & DAN DEITER
Megan, originally from Fairfax County, and Dan, who hails from outside Allentown, PA, met while working on a production of August: Osage County at Keegan Theatre. They are currently both teaching in the area and have been a couple for two years.

Winning couple is responsible for obtaining a ceremony officiant and wedding license, and may also be responsible for invitations, wedding attire, hair, make-up and other amenities. All submissions become property of Arena Stage and may be used for promotional purposes. The wedding date may be set for Friday, January 2, 2015 (time to be determined) or Sunday, January 11, 2015 (time to be determined). Not eligible to participate or win are employees, officers, directors (and their immediate families, fiancés or fiancées and those living in their same household) of Arena Stage or any of the participating sponsors.
