EXTENDED! AT ARENA STAGE NOW THROUGH MARCH 5!
"INGENIOUSLY DARK AND FUNNY MUSICAL"
In Ride the Cyclone, the lives of six teen chamber choir singers are cut short in a freak roller coaster accident. Stuck in the afterlife, a mechanical fortuneteller gives them a chance to sing their way back to earth. This quirky, edgy cult musical is part comedy, part tragedy, wholly enchanting, and will make you feel great about being alive!
Support for Ride the Cyclone is provided by Ilene and Steven Rosenthal.

Inspired by fan-favorite character Noel Gruber (“The Most Romantic Boy in Town”), Arena is throwing an Anti-Prom on Tuesday, February 14, featuring pre- and post-show festivities emceed by our very own (drag) prom queen, D.C.’s Tara Hoot, and a special 30-minute East Coast Swing dance class taught by Tom Koerner and Debra Sternberg of Gottaswing.
6:00 p.m.: Pre-show dance class with Gottaswing, followed by open dancing and a performance by Tara Hoot
7:30 p.m.: Ride the Cyclone performance in the Kreeger Theater
Post-show: Dance party with Tara Hoot continues in the Grand Lobby
While dressing up is not required, we’d love to see you in your best Anti-Prom outfits.
