PARTS OF THE DAY
Five Daily Activities
Every day campers attend their unique set schedule of five Daily Activities. These classes are chosen before camp begins from options in theater, dance, music, visual art, filmmaking and writing. Campers take the same five activities each day for the full camp session, allowing them to establish a routine, build friends, and learn new skills. They can choose activities within the same discipline or a variety of disciplines. It's up to them!
Daily Activities are grouped ages 8-12 and ages 12-15. Average class size is 12.

Small Groups
Each camper belongs to a small group, much like a homeroom, with a small group leader. This group meets during drop-off for attendance, eats lunch together, sits together at the Noontime Show, and ends the day together. Friends can request to be in the same small group. Small groups are of campers of a similar age/grade.
Daily Noontime Show @ 12:30
We have a 30-minute show every day with the most supportive audience ever. Campers can sign up as individuals or with others to share art of all kinds! Campers sing, dance, perform scenes, play instruments, read poetry and stories, show soccer skills, display visual art, cartwheel and more. Classes also share their work during this time.
Family and friends are always welcome to attend. The show starts at 12:30. Please sit anywhere behind the campers. A member of our staff will greet you and introduce themselves.
Choice
An opportunity to break up the day, during the Choice period campers participate in arts and recreational activities. Activities may include Ultimate Frisbee, craft projects, board games, improv games, sidewalk chalk, open mic, soccer, friendship bracelets, design challenges, trivia, and many more.
Extended Day
For families that need to pick up after 4:15 p.m., we offer extended day on either a full-session or drop-in basis. Two extended day coordinators supervise campers, offering them options for indoor and outdoor activities that meet their energy level. Snack is provided.
Sign-up for full-session extended day when you register. Email camp@arenastage.org to drop-in.
