Camp Arena Stage Philosophy

Community and art make the magic of Camp Arena Stage. At camp we see, recognize and appreciate each individual for who they are and the art that only they can make. We value being present, joyful, creative and kind. We know art has a product, but it is also a process full of mistakes and discoveries. We support one another and make a place that is safe to take risks and to grow as we explore, discover and create art together.

Camp Arena Stage is hosted on the gated campus, grounds, and air-conditioned classrooms of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School.

3-Week Session: July 7 – July 25, 2025
2-Week Session: July 28 – August 8, 2025

Regular Hours

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Note: Camp ends at 2 p.m. on the last Friday of each session. There is no extended day on the last Friday of each session.

Extended Day Hours

4 p.m. – 6 p.m. (for an additional fee)

Lunch/Snacks

Campers bring their own well-marked lunches that are kept in an air-conditioned room. Camp Arena Stage is not a peanut-free camp. We provide an optional, individually wrapped, daily snack.

Registration

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is due upon registration. The tuition balance is due on June 4, 2025.

Paying Your Balance

The tuition balance is due on June 4, 2025. Call the Arena Stage Sales Office (202-488-3300) to provide a credit card and schedule your final payment. Please do so at your earliest convenience so we can schedule your payment for June 4. The Sales Office is open Tuesday – Sunday, noon – 8 p.m.

Discounts

Early Registration Discount for Returning Campers
Returning campers save $50 off the 2-Week Session and $100 off 3-Week Session when registering by February 14 using the returning camper promo code. Returning campers should email camp@arenastage.org if you have not received the promo code via email.

Military, Educator, & First Responder Discount
Children of military, teachers, and first responders receive 20% off camp tuition. You will be prompted to provide supporting identification.

Give the Gift of Camp
If you would like to give a young artist in your life – like a grandchild – the gift of camp, you can purchase an Arena Stage gift certificate. This will provide you with a code that the parent/guardian can use for payment when registering.

Refunds

Registrants who cancel their registration before June 4, 2025 forfeit the $300 deposit.
No refunds are available for registrations canceled after June 4, 2025.

Cancellation Policy

If Camp Arena Stage must cancel a session in full before the session starts, we will fully refund tuition. If we must cancel once a session has started, refunds will be pro-rated.
